Hello, does the closure of Sud FM in The Gambia have anything to do
with the recent closure of the Sud FM aphiliates in Senegal last week
was it? The reason given for those closures had to do with an
interview given by an MFDC person in Casamance, and I can't remember
his name, but the Senegalese government closed the Sud FM stations,
while according to the reports I've seen, the Sud FM station in The
Gambia was allowed to continue operating. Given that Jammeh and Wade
have supposedly been working together to end the border impass, I just
wanted to know if there was a connection between the Sud FM in The
Gambia being shut down and the Sud FM aphiliates being shut down in
Senegal.
Maybe there is not a connection, but just wanted to ask.
