People like me who does not belong to any political party are worried
about the
situation after Butcher Jammeh`s departure.I read the debate on both
sides about
"the challenge to those advocating violent change in the Gambia"but it
seems as
there are some major facts that are unanswered from both sides. The
intelligent
Boy Jow came up with the facts this morning. Most of the things he
mentioned was
in my mind to ask my comrades. We should be democratic to debatt on
issues
rather than disregarding people`s views because they are on the other
side of the
opposition. It would be very dictatorial,if people are attacked or
disregarded because they are not in the U.D.P umbrella. We are all on the
opposition of
Butcher Jammeh`s actions against our people, and we need a stop to all
these nonsenses happening back home.I think, you should urge all party
leaders
to sit on the table, and come under one umbrella.Your leaders are not
mentioning
if they have done some efforts or not to come together, which is really
good for them.I have read some postings telling us how good and gentle
Ousainou Darboe is.
I have no objection to his gentleness and crediblity but you should
remember that,
Jawara was also gentle and credible but his followers brought all the
mess we are
in today. If one is not advocating for a post with the U.D.P then
please,let us open
our hands and work together as opposition to this evil regime and plan
for a good
government with all parties of the opposition irrespective of
religion,ehtnic etc.
I respect all opposition parties with their respectful and gentle
leaders and really
wish them good luck to defeat the Butcher by any means necessary.I
hope,we
will continue to respect views from all contributors. The
doctors,scientists,lawyers
or whatever in this forum, should help educate us intellectually to gain
something
from them.
