Thanks Mawdo Yoro and Brother Joof,

Well as the Mandinkas say every saying has its day.

Based on my experience in the Jammeh system I know with an irrational leader like Jammeh most of the hirings, firings, killings and barbaric injustices are the works of wicked fellows who spend their time fighting people rather than performing well.

I experienced hypocrisy live and this why I am always fighting aggressively on the sides of victims of hypocrisy.

I feel I should explain just for the records again. I remember in 2006/2007 when the online papers were rising some cowards hiding behind fake names wanted to use this GRTS fabrication against me thinking they could silence me/blackmail me with it but I shut them up by asking some of the rational questions they could not answer.

Thanks for your support.

With GPTC I will still try to get the Forensic Report and Feasibility Study and then take a wait-and-see-approach to balance Your Concern and Brother Joof's Advice.

If I should go for GPTC or set up a separate transportation company I will call it "Touraysan Public Transportation Services (TPTS)." One of my uncles in Saudi Arabia and I jointly own a Hajj and Umra (travel) company called "Touraysan Exclusive Travel and Tours, Hajj and Umra Services" ("Touray" from my mother and "San" from Sankanu). Since it will also be in transport and travel sector, the name will do for the one in Gambia as well.

As for Mr. Kebbeh the man is there though his transport business is dead. He has also suffered a lot in the hands of some wicked people.

The profitable insurance company he set up was snatched from him. The good thing is that the people who did that to him ended up betraying each other.

Brother Joof, as Pan Afrianist, I have been setting up shops across Africa with my involvement in the Nigerian, Burkina Faso, Ghanaian, Kenyan and South African film industries.

After the Haitian earthquarke, I mobilized some of my associates to set up a joint microfinance bank to help the quake victims of mostly widows.

It pains me to see voiceless Gambians suffering economically.

It pains me that Gambia has no viable film industry. I would love to help set set up one. Again here one needs stable and reliable government security/investment guarantee. It costs at least six (6) Million U.S.Dollars to set up a modest Hollywood entry level standard film production studio without the staff costs. If you do not have a reliable government (that will not hijack the expensive equipment or interfere with projects) in place, the risks will be too high.

So my major investments in The Gambia can wait while we "strive to make others live in unity, freedom, justice and peace in The Gambia. That is to be a combattant for democratic change in the land of our birth." To quote Brother Omar Joof.

Njarama, Nawari, Jerjef for the love and advice.

Betreff: Re: [G_L] Thanks Mawdo Yero... on The GPTC..some interesting explanations

Dear Prince,

I am glad to read your lines. You didn’t have to explain but it gave you an opportunity to clarify more on this. I share your frustration greatly regards to those that went after you for reasons best none to them. I heard too that such accusations were baseless lies and fabrications. I honestly didn't know who exactly is behind, but factually the Jammeh folks are one people you drag to court for this, including anyone who collaborated with them in their dirty quest to taint your name.

Your plan is ripe, and I will say go in for it without delay. Since the buses are made in Germany, make no mistake, you will do just fine. In fact your thought on the plight of Gambians is a good initiative. For one, you will bring employment. Second, you will bring development. Third, you will ease the burden of transportation problems. That said my love; you are better doing it as you indicated. Don't even call your company any name close to GPTC. How about Prince Transportation; etc....Remember, there was this successful guy called Kebbeh. I think he owned buses too. I don't know about his faith now.

The character called Momodou Sanyang is a scary and dubious character. Just about a year ago, he dubbed an elderly neighbor of mine in (Minneapolis) Minnesota who paid the money for a certain advertisement. Until now, it has never being aired. The APRC griot cum GRTS manager is a very scary fellow. Recently, he was involved in the issue surrounding the nabbed Journalist (N. Keitta) from the Observer. The man is not only a hypocrite but a desperate witch, added to his opportunist nature. It makes me wonder what Kebba Dibba is doing under this department still after people like Bora Mboge were humiliated.

Anyway Prince, I love you and I honestly implore on you to do more thoughts and make it to work.

Please find below what Omar Joof wanted to share with you. I hope you equally find value from his submission.

Stay blessed!

Kind Regards & thanks,
Yero

[My brother Yero,
Everyone of us can render some advice for our younger brother Sankanu. The politics of every state provides the basis and manner in which other aspects are to be run. In a dictatorship, the politics additionally controls those other aspects to promote the dictatorship in accordance with the whims and caprices of the dictator. The Gambia is a quintessential exemplification in this regard.
Our country's politics is characterized by banditry, brutality and criminality. But the only bandits, brutal barbarians and criminals allowed to ply their trade are Jammeh and his cohorts. Their project is to manipulate everybody and activity by spreading their tentacles into them and reducing them into stoogies in slavery to the dictator. Jammeh has his incompetent hands in everything in The Gambia and to set up anything and operate successfully outside his conglomerate of businesses would represent a threat to the dictator.
Prince, I urge you to be one of those who strive to make others live in unity, freedom, justice and peace in The Gambia. That is to be a combattant for democratic change in the land of our birth. This is my sincere brotherly advice!
Honoured Prince Sankanu, you can accept or reject our advice. But we are positive if you reject our advice and set up shop in The Gambia, in her present political circumstance, you will be disappointed. We don't want you to be in a predicament, where we can turn around and say to you: MY BROTHER, YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!
As the old say in ollof: WAHI MAG, DU FANAN AALAH (The words of the old, dont tarry out in the bush for the night). It shall always be better to be an unknown soldier of honour, than to be a victim of the dictator you know, after choosing to work for him in anyway. We know the Jammeh dictatorship for what it is: absolutely unreliable! And the Mandinka have taught us that: NGOLONG KUNDA; KONTONG NGININKA TEEJAY(Where you actually know each other, there is no need to ask for your family names)!
Best of regards,
Omar Joof ] --Omar Joof
