Mr. M’bai,

You would know me if I was to reveal my identity, but the reasons for
which I am contacting you does not require me to identify myself. I was a
well-placed Gambian government official, and I hope that would help to
interest you in what I have to share. I am not a hypocrite, but I
certainly do not wish to expose myself and risk putting my family in
danger. So you are free to share the contents of this email with anyone
you wish to, including posting it on the web as it is.

Please use your discretion in choosing to publish my contributions—well I
guess that would be obvious, but please keep my article as civil as they
appear. I would like to keep my articles short so people may be interested
to read on. But since it is my first contribution, this may be long.

Like I said, I have worked for the Jammeh government and I will not
mention in what capacity but I do have credible information which I intend
to share in broad terms but that which is relevant to the problems we have
now. I know there have been several credible contributors on the Gambian
issue, but one more should not hurt.

I know the intelligence circle of the Gambia government. I know Samba Bah,
13 Badjie, James Kujabi, Essa Sey (before he joined the govt and after),
current IGP Sonko, and all those who have made the mistake are making the
mistake of thinking Yaya could/would have never sacrifice them. I was
sacrificed, so to say but that’s the story. I have no regrets, and I have
my good reasons. What I fear is the issues building up and what they can
lead to.

During the times to come, I could tell you about the mistakes people
serving Yaya are making. People like Daba Marenah, Baboucarr Jatta, Lang
Tombong, and many more. I however do not wish to insult or negatively
highlight anyone because I know the repercussions for the individual
within the Gambia. But let all know that siding with the devil can only
bring them trouble.

Think about my proposal. I will be sending articles through you to share
with everyone. You decide what to do with them.

By the way, Soul is not my real name and I do not intend to impersonate
anyone my using name.

Bye for now,
Soul
