Dr. Sonko:

Thanks for the message. I kept on thinking about Kutubo Manneh and Abou
Gassama. My memories took me back to Gambia High School days. I would
think of Abou smiling and teasing me that Conteh's are not from Kombo, but
from Badibu.

I have been unable to eat or concentrate because I kept on thinking about
these friends. Kutubo, upon graduating from the upper six, worked with Dr.
Oldfied. I used to visit him at the late Hon. Forster's compound in
Banjul. This is something that will stay with me forever. I pray for
Kutubo to have speedy recovery. May Hon. Abou K. Gassama's soul rest in
perfect peace.

Naphiyo,

Comrade ML Jassey-Conteh
