If the Election results are to be annulled - there has to be an accelerated hearing by the Supreme Court as it is a very urgent matter and has to be cleared up before 29th May. If this happens, then a New and independent (neutral) Electoral Commission will have to be appointed.

There has been rioting in Kano.

I am not posting this with the intention of “debating” or discussing this matter any further with anyone in this Forum. I would much prefer to discuss the matter in that enlightened Nigerian Forum where we discussed Sharia law when Zamfara was going Sharia. ( You may regard this as information or even propaganda only.

There is no denying the sterling qualities of Mr.Umaru Yaradua – that is not what is in dispute. It is the RIGGING which Mr. Obasanjo seems to think is an unavoidable consequence of Nigerian under-development – at least that is the explanation that he gives to the Toubabs, and which Mr. Yaradua , knowingly or unknowingly has consented to, in climaing victory.
