Our Senegalese cousins are definitely suspect on this one. I respect our
soldiers for acting professinally in escorting them out to the border
without any incident. Perhaps the Senegalese were looking for an
over-reaction. Cuz I cannot believe a group of soldiers can be that stupid
to march in the middle of Albert market fully armed (as reported) without
attracting attention - albeit in total breach of diplomatic protocol.
Whatever the case is, thank God the Gambian soldiers acted the way they
did (wheather it be a truly professional act or sheer cowardice - knowing
how unprofessional they sometimes act towards the Gambian civil populace).
