The president Yahya jammeh has appointed Baboucarr
Blaise Jagne once again to handle the foriegn ministry
after he was demoted three years ago to the
ambassadorial level and appointed ambassador in Saudi
before becoming the country's permanent rep at the UN.
News of Jagne's appointment was carried by the
national broadcaster this afternnon(thursday). This is
the fifth appointment to the same post since july
1994. This latest appointment of Blaise to the foreign
ministry also brings to about 53, the number of
cabinet reshuffles, dismissals and minor and majors
changes in cabinet since 1994.
