i was listining to some oral history stuff today and i was a little shock to find 
out that soninke Bojangs of Brikama whom Lalo keba has heap lots of praises 
on where one time dethrone by Foday sillah Touray of Gunjure . what happen 
to the soninke spirit ? 
Kombo Sillah assume the leadership of Brikama and the many parts of kombo 
untill the Brits came who eventually exile him to Senegal . The Bojangs who 
are still leading in Brikama where helped by the British to assume the vacant 
post of mansa in Brikama ,i wonder why lalo keba never mension that the 
soninkes or nyanchos don't wait for some battles . any way the nyanhos did 
there time . 
just another side of kombo history . Foday Sillahs real name is Ebrahim Touray 
but he was name after a man call Ebrahim sillah ,so he was call foday sillah 
instead of his real name. he was born in Gunjure kombo north .the title Foday 
is for translators of the quran in mandinka .
