Your rendition is very very accurate. Where is Kinsa Jawara anyway?  She is
one decent lady.  I have alot of respect for her. Yes you are right she
noticed my frustration with that stupid Jammeh.  She is a very sensitive
lady.  At that moment I was prepared to blow up that State House building
any second. Jammeh wanted to fire Blaise Jagne on his return from overseas,
so he was persistently pleading for me to take up the ministry. Of course I
was very reluctant to do so knowing very well how those 'bureaucrats' have
been waging a covert "administrative warfare" on the AFPRC- i.e leaking
confidential information, delaying files, complicating and exploiting admin
procedures to cripple any policy they do not support and frustrate the
leadership. The Gambia Civil Service are experts in manipulating a
department head.  Coach, trust me those "permanent secretaries" almost gave
Jammeh a chronic heart attack! That is why you see all these ritual
dismissals and redeployments.  He can't handle them and he can't do without
them.  I can guarrantee you that 99% of the officials in that Government
(pass/present) never never like or support us (THE BOYS as they use to call
us condescendlingly).  I knew this perfectly well that is why I abstained
from all those crazy ministries....
