It would have been more interesting vetting Mr. Darboe online to proof to the world that he is a capable leader and a talented politician. Choreographed meetings usually play in favor of a cunning rhetorics preaching to the choir... He shall say what you already belief about Jammeh, arouse passions and offer absolutely no credible solutions to Gambia's problems. I would love to see NADD supporters ask tough questions pertaining to (a) Waa Juwara's allegations of corruption against Ousainou Darboe which is definitely going to surface its ugly head sooner or later (b) Is Mr. Darboe still a member of UDP- Yes or No (c) What is NADD's political platform besides a simplistic front against Jammeh designed to short change the Gambian electorate's voting scheme by restricting their democratic choices (d) How in the world can Mr. Darboe assure Gambian voters that a "party" of political competitors called NADD can ever produce a viable alternative to an established incumbency considering
the recent dismal history of political coalitions in Africa- Senegal is a quintessential example.(e) Predictions in politics are usually very embarrassing...what will happen to NADD and other dysfunctional former parties (UDP, PDOIS, NRP, and NDAM) should Jammeh win the elections as usual ? Finally, I know for a fact that Jammeh and his supporters will only hand over power to NADD over their dead bodies. Does NADD has any credible agenda of national reconciliation for the sake of peace and stability instead of an impending vengeance and a witch-hunting expedition should they ever come to power? If Mr. Darboe as usual gives a shady response to this last question then I would recommend that he starts building his own private army because the Gambia shall never be safe for his life again.

Folks:

Do not rely on hearsay, or no end of punditry. This is an opportunity to meet the man in the flesh, and ask the tough questions, seek clarification and even take him on. Mr. Darboe is a Man of integrity and commitment to justice, it will be interesting to meet him and listen to what he has to say.

Atlantans, please join us for another important evening of showing our commitment to the future of our country. Thanks again, Mr, Chairman.
