Bro. Alpha,

Once more, you have managed to mend my broken heart with the beauty with which you articulate our collective predicament.

Just after the April massacre, a friend sent me an email with the heading: "Fulfilment or Betrayal". In this poem, you have gone on to reiterate exactly the same sentiments that he gave vent to. They say: "He who laughs last, laughs best". Now the oppressors have finally ceased laughing; soon the people of Africa shall begin their eternal laugh!

Regards,

Kabir.
