Well and good, favorite son. Now can you bring the evidence that you lied
about here on my person? At the very least, you owe this readership that
much. You spent a good three weeks raking all kinds of lies which time has
exposed you. Why do you keep running to the Combo's when all you have to do
is to bring the evidence you and your sister said you've had on me for
years?

Folks, I got to tell you this story about adults that lie. When Conteh was
hot with his lies, he even attempted to strip me of my name and introduced
some Fa Ansu Sambou from Faraba Banta and how I am not a Jola and he knows
where the Sambous hail from etc. Well, couple of years ago, I was leaving
the soccer park with Banka Manneh, during the July Four in Atlanta. Behind
us, in the dark, were three men speaking in Mandinka. As they caught up
with us, they could tell Banka could speak Mandinka and they begin to engage
him (five of us in this desolate parking lot). One of those three men was
Conteh and I recognize him right away, even though I only saw him twice in
my life (a previous occasion in Atlanta and an ALD conference). He also
recognized me but was not sure if I knew him and I just played with it.
Well, one of the two senior citizens with Conteh, then ask me who I was and
I just casually told him my name. That gentleman happened to be none other
than ex-CID officer Mr. Sidebeh of Talinding Kunjang. I grew up knowing the
man and he knows my family very well and told the expert on the Sambou name,
Conteh, about my family (father, mother, siblings, etc.). I just looked at
Conteh while Mr. Sidebeh and I reminisce the days of old, and Conteh knew
what I was looking at - you guessed rigth, the liar in him. Then Banka
asked Conteh and before he could respond, I told Bank, this is the Momodou
Lamin Jasseh-Conteh that you read about on the L. Right there Conteh begin
to tell Banka in Mandinka how they are related and they need to talk and
Banka should not listen to others, etc. Folks, just that quick. So, I
believe that liars are going to be exposed with time.

Another, clue to Conteh's greed was revealed in 2000 ALD, when the UDP,
PDOIS, NRP, APRC, and PPP were invited to Howard University by Gambians to
convince them of the need to coalesce. Present were Halifa (PDOIS),
Fabacarry Tombong Jatta and SOS Justice, Joe Joof (APRC), and Hamat Bah.
Since Ousainou Darboe was not present, Karamba Touray wanted to read a
letter on behalf of the UDP. Conteh, not a member of the UDP now, was ready
to fight at the podium to represent the UDP. Witnesses to that event are
right here. When it was all said and done, none were allowed to sit for the
UDP. The following day I was told that Ousainou wanted to meet with me
since I was spearheading the collection effort and I went to Fredericks MD
with Karamba to meet him. Who did I see sitting there, Conteh and the that
Ousman Jallow fellow, with the APRC. Conteh played his role well. Now, no
sooner did his mentor broke ranks with the UDP/PPP/GPP, did Sherif bolt, and
we know what happened in that election and Sheriff's eventual association
with Yaya. Conteh, the one that was about to fight to speak for the UDP and
almost disrupted the conference, was all over the place announcing that he
is now with his mentor and teacher, Sheriff Dibba and they are with Yaya.
Had Sheriff not left Conteh to rot in the swamps, like he did the rest of
the NCP cadre, Conteh would have been driving a Pajero, right behind Sheriff
Dibba, to and from work, as I write and we would have been on his tail like
the rest. That was not to be, for Sheriff hid a page from his understudy
and blindsided him. Like Conteh, Sheriff is for his wallet only.

So, Conteh is a leach in the political rain forest looking for a host. The
same charge he levied on me that I am after a political appointment in a
NADD administration, is the same charge he and Tunkareh have been running
around telling folks in NC that they should not send their collections to
STGDP on behalf of NADD, because STGDP members are here for political
appointments in a NADD administration. That was the reason why he concocted
that lie that Halifa told him something about the STGDP in Maryland. Folks,
the person that crashed that STGDP Executive meeting with NADD in Maryland
was none other than Tunkareh, ok. So, how did Halifa tell Conteh the lies
Conteh was fabricating? That was the reason why Tunkareh was all over the
place defending Conteh for the devil in the details was him. Thus, it
stands to reason that Conteh will look to any as doing what ever they do for
political gains.

"Since all politics is local, I suggest that we visit our constituencies
during the next presidential elections. I intend to be in Kombo East during
the presidential elections."

Does this sound like what occurred in DC in 2000, where he planted himself
to represent UDP? So, who should Gambians really watch? I will let the
readers form their own opinions.

Chi Jaama

Joe
