I must admit that I have serious issues with some of the sentiments
displayed by some people on this list. It seems that one is only considered
objective if one speaks against the Jammeh government. I do believe that
Ousman have a good point by saying that Jammeh reserves the right to hire
or fire any member of his administration so long as it is not politically
influenced. This is clearly stated in the constitution that Gambians voted
for. Afterall, if we dire hold Jammeh responsible for the way he administer
the affairs of the country, then why can't we let him decide on who he
wishes to administer it with.

I hope we continue to ponder on this issue with objective and unbiased
minds. Simply because you oppose an administration doesn't mean you should
speak against any constitutionally mandated issue.
