Waa on Campaign Trail

The Secretary – General and leader of the defunct National Democratic Action Movement (NDAM), Lamin Waa Juwara, an executive member of NADD, is among the leading opposition men mounting an aggressive electioneering in Wuli West in the run-up to the September 29 polls.

With barely five days ahead of the by-elections, Mr. Juwara is currently propagating the NADD doctrine in the Wuli West constituency, in a frantic bid to ensure Sidia Jatta’s return to the National Assembly.

Addressing a political rally in Barrow Kunda, Mr. Juwara explained that NADD was formed primary to salvage the Gambian people from what he called “the economic doldrums and political decay” that has plagued this country. Juwara alias “Mbaroodi,” told the people of Barrow Kunda that NADD has tangible solutions and policies to correct the political and economic wrongs of the APRC administration. He consequently urged them to vote en masse for the party in the forth-coming by-election and other subsequent elections.

According to Mr. Juwara, the APRC administration failed the people of Wuli West since they had reneged on their election promises, which he added is a clear indication of the party’s negligence for the constituency.

NADD campaign team also held meetings in Mankoto Keila and Foday Kunda.
