As you have all rights to doubt on my credibility, I have attached some documents for you concerning the case. The receipt for the D20, 000 paid the Judiciary, Ali Bah's false receipt he gave to my wife without the Ministry`s letter head, Onyia`s lies on the Daily observer and my Lawyer`s letter to the Magistrate who made the judgement. Lawyer Joseph Joof & Lawyer Amie Bensouda can tell you alot about this case.
I mentioned two cars in my interview but it was three cars they seized from my home plus all my household properties. Onyia was the senior magistrate in the court they made the judgement. They never gave me a receipt for the things they sold; neither could they present me a list of the things they took from my house. When I questioned about all these injustice, then they came up with false accusation for the Police to arrest. Anyway, the G-L is not a courtroom to judge my case, but I have the right to say the injustice I encountered under the AFPRC. Call it whatever you want ! Believe me, I am keeping all my documents on this case until we have a change of government, so that I will sue these thieves in court. One fine day justice will come back to the Gambia. If certainly what my opinion can give me as to what I do read in your posting in Gambia L, you are among my favorite writer. You have a command of the language and you speak right to the current event happening in the Gambia. You make us enlighten and make us breathe with issues that are affecting the Gambia. You are among the few that are ready to expose Yahya Jammeh and his folks. You are a reporter that is with courage to report issues and this makes your report more credible.
As for Augustus Mendy who writes to counter your reporting style and asking you to read more to enhance what your post on the web. Let me tell you one thing about this Augustus Mendy. He is also a "butt licker" for the AFRC regime because he is Yahya's ranger in the army. He is among the graduates of 1997 GCE O' level at Gambia High school with the least grades among hundreds. He has no self-direction and thinks he knows every thing. Ask any graduates of Gambia High School in 1997 in the morning shift who is Augustus Mendy? I am not surprised even the lunatics are supporting Yahya and his jungle government to stay in power.
Mr. Mbaye if what urges me to log onto Gambia L every hour daily is get hurry to open your posting together with Mr. Ceesay's. You have facts about the Gambia that make us to widely speculate wow how great can he get this info. But I have to salute to you and encourage you to do more than you can to keep us post with issues in the Gambia. You can't tell for certain how prudent your posting means to thousands of readers. Gambians home and abroad are counting on your professional writing to pursue Jammeh in all degree.
