In case you have signed the petition , here it is again :GOTO>
http://www.gambiansonline.com/MRDGPetition.htm

Those of you who already signed the petition, we say THANK YOU.
I am however getting a little impatient with some of you compatriots.
We are doing everything possible keeping track of the signed petition as,
one would expect, and so far the numbers are low. Albeit it's understandable
that we just lauched it today and perhaps not many are online at present.
But what irks me the most is seeing some these folks whining about Shariah
Law and other redundant issues, most of which has already been debated over
and over again, acting as if they did not receive the petition
e-mail that was announced earlier on this very LIST. Every concerned
gambian in the opposition must not hesitate to sign this petition if they
truly want to make a difference. No one is trying to put a gun to your
heads but what else can you ask for, this is the noblest yet the simplest
thing to embark upon. All one has to do is sign the 'doggone' petition
and save us the distraction. Again, we not forcing any. Let's leave it to
our own consciences. Let's try to do what's right and quite feasible.

So folks, all we're asking is for you to please sign the petition at your
earliest convenience. When we turn the table around, all these Shariah
Laws and other authoritarian issues will vanish in thin air. The choice
is very clear. The opposition must unite, listen to the pledge of the
people they intend to represent in office. It's all in our best interests.
Can you afford another term of misery that this current regime, Yahya
Jammeh and his cohorts? Ask yourselves that question. You don't have to
be in the Gambia to see their pain. Some of you have seen what was
accomplished in the case of Rust College. It was our collective spirit
that made it a success. If you ask me, I'll tell you that this is the
Mt Everest of all we are trying to accomplish. So I simply cannot re-
iterate how important this mission is comrades. Let's show the Senegalese,
the Ghanians, all our neighbors and around the universe that we too,
concerned gambians, sons and daughters of the once smiling coast, brothers
and sisters to those who died in the struggle, that we shall NO LONGER
cower to any form of injustice from these villains who hijacked our
beloved country, kept us hostages, some of us forced to live in exile, put
us into farther hopelessness and worst, solitary oblivion. We must not be
subjugated into believing there is nothing we can do. You, you and yes can
can make that different, but we must back our words with some actions. Now
is time! Sign the petition, Now! (o-:)

                                                      Mr Makaveli (o-:)
