Dear Modou,

Thanks for the encouragement, and for the nice salutation in an earlier message to the L. I was away from here for the whole of October, and in some of the places I was in--eg Sierra Leone, for ten days--email access was quite difficult for me. The machines were extremely slow, so, I could only scan through the messages I was getting. I look forward to reading your comments on the social sciences paper.
