 Was there not news sometime ago that The Gambia "government" had won a suit
against Ebou Jallow and that the some court had ordered Jallow to return the
$3 million to the state. I think Cheyassin's predecessor had even intimated
to the media that $2 million plus had been returned to the state but it was
understood then that a large chunk, which she refused to disclose had been
paid in legal fees to the lawyers that represented the Butcher. May be Jallow
himself can shed light on this?

You are right Kabir, now I remember. I also seem to remember someone saying
that it was not true that the funds had been returned. Yes, I hope Jallow can
sehd light on this.
