Brother Habib and cousin Ginny,

I am pleased that the two of you have a meeting of the minds.

One thing I learned from this brother Habib is that when we convey the
opinion of our fellow human, we must endeavour to cite them from the beginning of
our conveyance. This is a very serious problem and it has started
unnecessary conflict. Academia is all too aware of this problem and especially with the
advent of the compooter and intinet. That is why it is now part of most if
not all curricula to teach students the value of citing sources of
information. And it must be done the first time we convey the opinions or intellectual
property of our fellow man/woman. If we do not, at the first instance, we
become purveyors of our original thought. Any attempt in the future to correct
that deficit of regard is usually met with foreboding, suspicion, and more
often disdain. And it could be innocent oversight.

Haroun Masoud. MQDT. Darbo. Ahlan Yaa Wuld Ammi. Wa Ramadan Mubarak.
