Farang, thanks for your clarification and I've found you. My apologies
for misreading you. Usually when Gambians reference the 1981 affair it
is used as cover to pitch for all options on the table except combat.
The Kukoi affair must be put in its proper context and should not be
used as cover to defend against hard options. We are faced with an
enemy that our resolve must be resolute. The man must go and by any
means necessary. We are twenty years into this already and at the rate
and direction we are headed, we may find ourselves closing another 30
year. The majority of our people, expecially diasporans are lukewarm in
their support of getting rid of Yaya and at worse are not interested
for following "the American, European Dreams", etc. It is only our
resolve that stands between getting rid of this mennace and indulging
him for another 30 years and we must be clear. Much respect.
