 Folks
I like to thank all those who have been keeping us up to date on the political developments back home. Your work is much appreciated, and be assured that despite the lack of active participation from members like myself on the list, we are doing our part in other forms. As the election nears, please stay focused and stick to the agenda (the betterment of our country). I have heard supporters from both sides of the two major parties declare a landslide victory, but lets face it; this will be the closest presidential election our nation have yet to face. Remember that our voices can only be heard by campaigning to the last minute, and staying clear of all distractions. In the process, please do not let your emotion get the best of you or encourage any violence. Campaign to the last minute and let The Gambian votes speak! Remember the current elections will pass and our families or we have to live with each other.

Long live Democracy

Long live Freedom

Long live The Gambia People

Regards, Momodou Billo Krubally

Gambia since we Gambians abroad were not given the chance to register in
order for us to vote. In this light, I am hereby calling on every gambian
living outside Gambia to use his/her voice on those Gambians back home who
may be willing to listen to us. They are our relatives and friends. Lets
talk to them and keep talking to them until the close of the polls on
election day, October 18. I see this as very important, yet, as a last
minute move in the crusade we have since been moving to dislodge the APRC
leadership. Down! Down! Down! with the dictatorship. Long live the Gambia
under a new leadership come October 18. Ameen!
