Deyda,

I believe a consensus is emerging that the least expected of local papers is
credit the author of list-based material and, whenever possible, seek the
consent of the originator of the material in question. This appears to be
the position of George Sarr, Momodou Camara, Jabou Joh and myself.  If this
reflects the general feeling of others, especially, those immediately
affected by the practise, then we should move on pending the fulfilment of
the Daily Observer MD's promise to make amends.
