Just returned from a 3 weeks visit to the Gambia (first in 10yrs). Met a
few G-lers. My sincere thanks to Koto Sidi for helping me link up with
some of the G-L veterans. The highest moment was when Katim, Amadou
Scattered Janneh and myself found ourselves in one tiny office in
Banjul. This was our first life meeting since Gambia-l was created,
Katim and I's first in 10 yrs; Amadou and Katim's first ever and myself
and Amadou's in 24years! Strange to find very familiar internet buddies
looking each other in the face not knowing who is who. Also met very
briefly with old timers like Tombong Saidy, Sheikh Tijan and Malafy
Jarju. I found our brief meeting very useful. Pa Modou Gassama, it was
interesting talking to you. Wish I had the time to pass by Gamtel house
the second.
