This is indeed a very sad news. Captain Sibby was one of the most brilliant coaches in the Gambia. He was the brain behind the incredible Ports Authority team of Alagie Sarr, Pom, Essa Faye, Pochi Sarr, Saho and others. It was always a joy seeing him teach and analyse the game. What a loss!

was really a Real De Banjul icon. My condolences go to his family, his

Regret to announce the death of Yusupha Sibby Cappy
which sad event occur ed at the RV TH this morning and
was laid to rest this evening.For us the founder
members of Real De Banjul, Yus was one of the finest
footballers The Gambia has ever produced.We extend our
sincere condolence to the family ,Alhaji Gibby Sosseh
,Real De Banjul fans and the entire football
fraternity. May his soul rest in perfect peace .
