you are also a nonsense with the G-l, this is what journalism is about informing people on issues being it good or bad esp. those in public duty.

Now this Yerro Jallow and the rest of the gang sound like some very scary folks crawling out of the woodwork.

Honestly, I cannot even begin to imagine the depth of depravity that you NADD supporters can reach...That in this 21st Century people living the US can be the willing agents of some primitive superstitious belief, and much more gloat over the death of a political rival is simply beyond belief. This is simply outrageous and totally disgusting even if the alleged rumor is true. If Hamat Bah's voodoo or witchcraft was no good for him in winning the election what the hell can it do to anybody else...? Is a simple election worth taking a human being life ? What kind of deity are you idiots worshiping? If anything happens to Sainey the retaliation on NADD is going to be worst than you can ever imagine. Voodoo or Hoodoo the measure you give is going to be the measure you get.

To hell with you evil people.

NEWSDID APRC MP SAINEY MBYE DIED? FAMILY MEMBERS CLARIFY
IRIN NEWS-->BY YERO JALLOW

---------------------------------

October 1, 2005
While family members denied the sudden death of the newly elected APRC Upper Saloum Member of Parliament Sainey Mbye, wild rumours today which rife in Banjul and its surrounding towns have it that MP Mbye died of a snake bite.

Sainey Mbye who recently won the Upper Saloum seat, after a bitter electoral tussle with incumbent NRP leader and Candidate Hamat Bah was said to have died of a snake bite, even though his family had denied such reports.

The wild rumour which quickly filtered around Banjul was linked to possible "witch craft" as many local residents say they were not convinced that the said snake which allegedly claimed the life of the APRC MP was an ordinary one.

While Sainey's family rebuffed the news of his death as 'totally unfounded and untrue", they also confirmed hearing about the said wild rumour, which is widely circulated beyond Gambia's frontiers.

The ALLGAMBIAN online Newspaper rece! ived series of news tips from anonymous sources yesterday who also claimed to have heard the death of the new Upper Saloum MP. In a bid to verify the veracity of the story our own Yerro Jallow embarked on an investigations to ascertain the death of MP Mbye.

A good number of local residents in The Gambia who spoke to our reporter confirmed hearing the death of the Upper Saloum MP. Local sources went as far saying that the person who went to hand over the sacking letter of the NRP leader's father , a former alkalo in Upper Saloum also died.

Meanwhile, our reporter Yerro Jallow also contacted Fatoumatta Jahumpa Ceesay, an APRC nominated Member of Parliament who denied such rumours on the death of her colleague Sainey Mbye. FJC said "Sainey Mbye is alive and is going on his normal life." The APRC nominated Member also confirmed hearing about the rumours on the death of Sainey Mbye. "I heard about the rumour on his death, but there is nothing like that. Sainey is aliv! e." she said.

Meanwhile, many Gambians both at home and abroad who spoke to our reporter said unless Sainey Mbye himself volunteered to throw light on the news of his death, the rumour will continue to rife in days to come.

Editors note: We want to make it abundantly clear that the said news item on MP Sainey Mbye's alleged death is not malicious in anyway. Mr. Mbye is a public figure and news of his possible death should be reported by any newspaper which worth its salt. The public reserves the right to know what is happening to their MP. Under Gambia's constitution, public officials are not immune from scrutiny-be it good or bad news as others will call it. As an MP Mbye falls under the public domain and news regarding his possible death cannot be censored by The ALLGAMBIAN. Once again, we want to assure his family and friends that we have nothing against MP Mbye. We are merely performing our journalistic work.
