Sidi,

Actually, I've read a flyer on Karamo Terera, which says that he's a
Gambian, who once worked for the Cooperative Department and later beacame a
teacher before coming to the US.

He was, according to the same flyer, working at Fiduciary Trust as a
computer technician. The information provided concluded that Mr. Terera
called his friends in NYC just after the first plane hit the WTC, and that
was the last time they heard from him.

I'm also aware that there is a Terera family residing in the Greater Banjul
Area. I'm sure there're some list members who can ascertain this.

As for the other person allegedly involved in the casualties, unconfirmed
reports say that he is a native of Gambissara village in the URD and that he
was a security guard in one of the businesses that occupied the WTC.

It's however disappointing that I don't find Gambia on the list of countries
that have lost their nationals in the tragic incidents of September 11.

I hope this would help to clarify the issue.

Hamadi.
