Many months ago someone forwarded a story about a well-learned Arab/American Muslim scholar who lets his wife lead at prayer. I cannot remember much else (title or date) about the story. I have searched the archives but without success. 

Is there anyone who can remember more than just the content? Many thanks in advance.
