Suntu,

Thanks and please continue to keep your eyes on the ball. Below is a message
I just posted on another list and should be a warning to those who believe
everything they read from the British media especially on Zimbabwe nowadays:

Bamba,

Just to bolster my point about disinformation and lies by the British media,
the posting below is from a list I am subscribed to but the sender was
catious as you can see:

Date: Thu, 5 Apr 2007
From: Gregor Dobler
    Basel University

In today's Mail and Guardian, Namibian journalist John
Grobler published a long article on secret death squads and
torture in Zimbabwe. The article is based on the witness of
a former member of a death squad. You will find the full
article at:
http://www.mg.co.za/articlePage.aspx?articleid=303901&area=/insight/insight__africa/

Does anybody have information corroborating or contradicting
the information given in the article?

And then today a response came in:

Date: Fri, 6 Apr 2007
From: Victor Kazembe Kawanga

Trevor Ncube did not flee. He was instead deported to Zambia
on suspicion that he is actually Zambian. But difficult to
ascertain consideration the historical connection of Zambia,
Zimbabwe and Malawi (Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland).
I think this case is pending..

Has anyone of you come across the Lancaster Agreement
(Between Britain and Zimbabwe brokered by Zambia through our
very own African Statesman Dr. Kenneth David Buchizya
Kaunda) that ushered in independence of Southern Rhodesia?

Now you tell me who has the interest and the resources to such outright
lies?

Regards,

Kabir.

--- End forwarded message ---

You are very right, the wholes essence of eductaion is to be able to think
for oneself!

Regards,

Kabir.
