Ousman,

thanks for the piece of advice. I choose the timing and nature of my
responses, and I know most subscribers have genuine questions.

Rest assured that no amount of criticism, insults, "garuwalleh," etc. will
deter me from expressing MY views or choosing what political party to align
myself with. I opposed the APRC regime (writing articles, doing programs with
VOA English Service to Africa, attending political meetings in The Gambia,
etc.) on my own free will; and I have chosen to join it on my own volition.
Others may say what they like; afterall, that's what freedom is supposed to
be.

Also, only those who don't know me would imply that I joined the APRC in
search of a position. But why should I shy away from becoming a public
servant? And are they aware of my employment and other situations here and
elsewhere (Senegal). Survival? If at this stage I am considered to be
fighting for survival, I pity the rest, particularly in the diaspora.

Amadou SJ
