You put it right! Most of us are so overwhelmed with joy because this is
really a victory for democracy; and as you said, Joof should also be
congratulated for honourably accepting the people's verdict. He does not
have to worry about his safety because he has not among other things,
committed any murders whiles in power.

To the people of Senegal I would like to echo the slogan that has been
ringing in my head the whole of today: "Yama saff, ma saff la, jefyi saffan
te la". Congrats!
