Barrow, you are right that Gassama’s sole purpose here is to distort facts.
But we got news for the knucklehead. He will be pursued all over G_L and his
lies debunked. I also noticed how he craftily tried to recycle PDOIS’
article here listing the PPP supporters that were at the rally in an attempt
to give the impression that the rally was dominated by PPP. Needless to say,
the sloppiness in his reporting was soon unmasked by the Independent piece.
Whereas Gassama was obsessing about PPP and lying about the numbers present
at the rally, Independent talked about the crux of the rally: Ousainou
Darboe’s speech.

Did you noticed that Gassama NEVER talked about what Ousainou Darboe had to
say about what an Alliance government is going to do? Mind you, this is the
same vermin that comes here to say that the Opposition does not have an
agenda. You now see why this man CANNOT recognize an Opposition agenda if it
smacked him right between the eyes. The vermin is in denial. Darboe listed
numerous reforms the next government is going to embark on. Waa Juwara also
said that the law will run its course vis-à-vis the AFPRC/APRC criminals
currently running the country. In short, progressive utterances were made at
the rally.

Like OJ said, if this rally is replicated in Bakau, Serrekunda, Banjul, and
Barra, more APRC/AFPRC will be packing and taking cover. The momentum built
up in Brikama has to be carried to the rest of the country. News about the
rally coupled with news that people are confronting GRTS (APRC mouthpiece)
to get them to retract ‘defection’ stories, clearly shows that the Gambians
have had enough of these criminals.

I do NOT have a verbatim record of Darboe’s speech, but I hope in the area
where he mentioned that APRC will use bribery and thuggery to get votes,
Darboe also mentioned how the vermin have looted our government coffers
while people grew poorer. That is the money Yaya is going to use to dish out
to people. Darboe’s speeches also have to be tailor-made for each community.
For instance when we go to Bakau, we have to talk about the despicable state
these vermin have put our tourism industry into. We need to tell the Bakau
youths that it was unnecessary for the government to unleash violence on our
youths in the guise of annihilating ‘bumsters’. We need to tell the whole of
Bakau that with a Coalition government in place, the thugs that massacred
our children would be brought to justice. With Yaya and his gang out of the
way, meaningful development will come to the constituency in terms of
electrification, revitalizing the tourism industry, restoration of law and
order, and providing jobs and opportunities for the youths instead of
cursing them and their parents like Yaya always does on TV.

When we go to the rural communities, we have to talk to our farmers
directly. Let us tell them in no uncertain terms that their groundnuts will
be bought INSIDE The Gambia at competitive rates. If this is the only thing
the next government will achieve, so be it. It is very important that our
people understand that it is the government’s responsibility to ensure that
there is a conducive environment whereby people can earn a decent living
from their sweat and toil. Our government should NOT shy away from this
responsibility like the AFPRC/APRC mental midgets. They (AFPRC/APRC) would
rather impoverish our people so that they can in turn bribe the people for
votes. We should have none of that.

I guess the Opposition get the message. Let’s go to each community and
attack their unique problems. Let’s us leave AFPRC/APRC and their supporters
to dwell in the past. Let us give our people plans that will clearly show
that we will move the country FORWARD and NOT backward, like the AFPRC/APRC
did. Down with the vermin leading our country.

Barrow, thanks once again for highlighting the shenanigans of the shameless
Gassama. The man CANNOT be honest if his life depended on it. At times I
wonder whether he is NOT mentally impaired when he say certain things here.
How can someone lie about certain things so blatant?
