Brother Habib,

Terminating the life of a human being, irrespective of judicial process, is a judgemental application of infinite wisdom - a quality that can be ascribed only to Allah (SWT). Fallible, temporal humans should not usurp that kind of power.

As a humanist and thus holding that the preservation of all life should be ones chief concern, snuffing out Saddam's life as a result of his indescribable crimes, is primarily the expression of that primitive instinct for vengeance. How George Bush, a true Jesus Christ wannabe, manages to compartmentalise animal brutality and compassionate conservatism is a reflection of America's own history of violence.
For these reasons, I am also against the literal application of the Sharia.

BTW, Dr. Madiba Saidy, welcome back HOME.

Good Night,

Momodou S Sidibeh

  Sister Jabou

I have always from day one had a same position against Saddam 's regime and have for the record demanded his removal and his death . I support Saddam's death by a firing sqad .yes

so I do not know where you are coming from. Sang knows my position quite well if you don't.

moreover everyone makes points that I may agree or disagrre with even if I chooose to mention only the agreements. Even you have opinions that i agree with just like the rest.

so sister be cool as usual and keep them coming.

Next year is around the corner and if you ever run for office you can count on my vote -that is for Banjul - for I think you are on of the few who has the guts to speak thier mind without fear .

  cheers

  Habib
