Sheikh Tejan:

Subhanna Allah!!! Ralph Simmon was our neighbor when we lived at 59
Haddington Street (we lived upstairs and they lived downstairs). Him and
Tuti had just gotten married when they moved into that apartment. I vividly
remember Ralph coming to our house almost nightly, to drink Cherreh and milk
with my dad..... He also taught after-school programs to a lot of kids --
some of whom came from as far as Serrekunda.

He was a devoted, loving and caring person and I'm very saddened by this
news. I pray for Allah to give him Jannah, and for Tuti and the rest of the
family to have the strength to get through this -- Ameen.

Regards,

Awa Sey
