infoDev is pleased to announce a request for proposals to develop an
E-Government Toolkit for developing countries in partnership with the
Development Gateway http://www.developmentgateway.org, an Internet-based
platform designed to share information, tools, and services about development
worldwide.

infoDev  will  award  a  grant  of  up  to  $60,000 to develop the E-Government
Toolkit.  It  is  expected  that  the toolkit should be completed within six to
eight  months of the award. The authors of the E-Government toolkit may also be
invited to a World Bank workshop on E-Government in Washington, D.C. on June 11
and  12,  2001.

Submission Date:  All proposals are due by Friday, May 4, 2001
