Dear Dr. Malanding S. Jaiteh,

I'm reaching you based on your web site
http://www.columbia.edu/~msj42/index.htm

I hope you can guide us to needy teachers in The Gambia for our free
service.

The Geoseed Project (http://www.geoseedproject.com/) is a non-profit
grass-roots organization that strives to create the desire for learning
in children. I have attached a brief description below.

The effectiveness of our work depends on directly reaching needy
teachers through credible sources. I'd very much appreciate if you can
recommend one dedicated teacher in a rural girls' school in The
Gambia (especially Upper and Central River Divisions) for our free service.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Ranga

Geoseed Project

The Geoseed Project is a non-profit volunteer organization based in
Silicon Valley that inspires girls in developing countries to pursue their
educational interests. We provide back issues of the National
Geographic Magazine free of charge to deserving teachers who teach girls.

Education is the easiest path to achieve the basic human needs of
food, clothing, shelter, health and security. Education begets
education. Often, it only takes a one-time helping hand to initiate
children to educate themselves forever. We harness the natural
curiosity of children to further their education.

We'd like to reach as many children in the world with our limited
resources. Since girls' education has a high payback to society, we're
focusing on rural girls' schools in developing countries. We are
looking for teachers in such schools who cannot afford a regular
subscription to the magazine.
