Hello, Yero, I'd love to say that I have some ideas for the way
forward, but unfortunately I have none. Or at least, none that I
think would be received well by many. I don't like referring to
discussions going on on other lists, but you'll most likely know what
I'm saying when I say to you that many of the people who's work and
contributions you admire, are some of the same people who have openly
scoffed at my continued involvement and comment on issues they deem me
as not qualified to speak on, to them I'm "meddling" and perhaps I am.

I'm tired, not only because of the "struggle" we all say we are
engaged in, but of having to continually, I don't know how to put it.
During the play of all of these events of the past few years, I know
I've said things I probably shouldn't have said, I know I've made
mistakes, and because of this, I've fallen out of favor, and because I
don't agree with some, I all of a sudden don't know what I'm talking
about, I'm crazy, or any number of things, and I just can't fight two
battles at the same time! So I'm tempted to just fight none!

I find it's better to share your ideas, time, talent, and resources
with people who will appreciate such, and not publicly on a forum such
as this, with peopel who don't know you, and people who love nothing
better than to tear you down at every turn, because then they can
arrogantly say how much better that they are than you.

I've definitely learned a lot about myself and many others during this
process! And I just choose to keep a low profile regarding issues
like this! If not withdrawing from the discussion altogether! I used
to think that if I participated in a debate or discussion long enough,
said the same thing enough times, that people would "understand" me
better, and I've found that's just not the case! Endless wrangling,
discussion, debate, just doesn't get you anywhere and what's worse,
I've made a fool of myself in the process, which isn't good!

I'd let others who have more standing, influence, and respect within
the "community" participate and come up with the ideas, rather than
myself. I'd rather share my thoughts and ideas with people who know
where I'm coming from, people who know where I stand, and who truly
know me as a person! Which most of the people on this list, do not.

Ginny
