Hamadi:

This is terrible news. I know Karamo Treara (Baba Karamo) very well, he'd
been living in New York for years now. He is from Dippa Kunda, a younger
brother of Almamy Treara. My condolences to his family.

A friend told me that it was announced back home that he was indeed a
casualty but I was waiting for confirmation and I haven't seen any of
reports others mentioned.
