Jabou,

I am sorry that you feel vilified by my comments. But actually my comments were to warn of the vilification that will come your way after you share with the L what you gathered privately with others. So I told you to develop a thick skin beforehand.

Next time, I will start by telling you how noble and sublime this endeavor is and then softly follow it with my critiques. That seems to be the modus operandi here.

I totally agree with you, and Jabou has every right to solicit others in helping the Opposition. But this was done by Dr. Saine already. Why redouble efforts? Isn’t there some redundancy? All of these things happened on GambiaPost and, to some extent, Gambia_L. Why go through the rigamarole again? This is why I think Joe’s recommendation of joining other listservs is a great idea. You can be a passive subscriber if you feel that there is going to be some antagonism towards you, as in Jabou’s case.

Many thanks again for helping improve my thought process through this exchange.

Omar
