Mr. Mboge:

I have found you to be a sincere and dedicated Gambian. Your reply to my
posting again shows how criticism can initiate innovation. We are at
crossroads in a defining moment about the prospects of unity.

I want to make it clear that I have not sided with any opposition party
because I believe that they are all genuine in addressing the problems in The
Gambia. I will come up with a message from an organization we are setting
here in North Carolina. With approval from the executive committee I shall
pinpoint our preamble. We, however believe that with enough resources, we
can mount public relations campaign for opposition unification. We believe
that there should not be a second round election dream by the opposition.
This we think is a calculated risk that will continue to divide us.

My genuine concern to Halifa belies the fact that I looked up to him during
our high school days. If I sound too confrontational in addressing issues,
please forgive me. In politics individuals have to take risk in questioning
some stance advocated by others within the spectrum. We must not be afraid
to speak our mind, but be willing also to accept the reality of political
moderation. We chose to lead, and as such, must search for the truth in
freeing the Gambia. Long live democracy and down with dictator yahya jamus.

Naphiyo!!!!

Sincerely,

Comrade ML Jassey-Conteh
