Innah lillahi, wa innah lillahi rajahoon.
This is indeed a tragic loss for The Gambia, happening just after the opening
of a House of Call to Prayer and total submission to Allah. Allahu Akibarr.
May He hear their call and show them mercy and confirm them a place in
Jannah. May He grant the injured speedy recovery.
I was privileged to have known among them only Hon. Abu Gassama. He was a
family friend and shared some very interesting and positive thoughts with me
whenever he visited Washington, DC.
He was without question one of the finest gentlemen I have ever met.
Our heartfelt condolences to their families.
LK Juwara.
