Mr. Jeng,

Please note that it is the Movement for Democracy and Development (MDD) and not the Movement for the Restoration of Democracy in The Gambia (NY).

I'm not speaking on behalf of the MDD, but I believe that it is really about time that this confusion is cleared. MDD has been working hand in hand with STGDP on so many issues that calling it by any other name would be a gross misrepresentation.

Just a clarification from an MDD member.

Under the leadership of SAVE THE GAMBIA DEMOCRACY PROJECT, MOVEMENT FOR RESTORATION OF DEMOCRACY IN New York, and the entire voices of the Diaspora, there is a planned DEMONSTRATION to be held at the Gambia Embassy in Washington DC, December 02, 2005. This is a peaceful demonstration to register our outrage to the illegal arrest of the NADD leadership. Brothers and Sisters, Gambia is our homeland, as the first words to our national anthem indicate. Do not let anyone tell you that you cannot make a difference.
