KB,
this is the second time that "Dr." Jammeh is removing/firing my very good
friend Alhaji Conteh (of Gunjur) from his post as MD within a 12-month
period.

I was in The Gambia last January when he was just appointed.  Not long after
I returned to the US, I learnt he was removed from the post without
explanation.  A few months later (and after many employee protestations), he
was named MD again.  Now he is out again as a scapegoat for "Dr." Jammeh's
failed (and empty) promises.  Don't be surprised if Conteh is recalled for
another time as NAWEC MD!

It's just child's play or musical chairs for "Dr." Jammeh.
