Alpha, Soffie and Karamba, i would like to thank you and all Gambians and friends of the Gambia who contributed or helped in one way or the other in making this venture "THE APRIL MASSACRE MEMORIAL FUND" possible.

I would like to forward my support for the suggestion to contribute on regular basis. However, the frequency of the contribution
(monthly, bi-monthly etc) and the amount should be left open for each country, region or voluntary group to decide upon. Combined with other fund raising activities, i´m sure, we shall be able to meet the financial demands without begging for any institutional financial assistance.

We have to intensify the mobilisation process.
Sura

   Progress Report No.2

To recapitulate, we identified two main aims for the Fund:
     1. To assist the Families of the massacre victims
     2. To assist in paying the legal bills of victims of human
     rights abuse
