Thanks Cousin Haruna, Uncle Soutou and all who emailed me directly,

I appreciate your encouraging words. As you all know I have a THICK SKIN and I can fight my wars up to the last drop of my blood.

So I am not that concerned about the negativities but I like nipping such backward things in the bud to help me save useful energy as I do not have time to waste on idlers.

A GOOD NAME IS WORTH MORE THAN GOLD AND SILVER. This is why I am jealously and fearlessly protecting my name round the clock.

In our Sarahulleh Civilization "RESPECT, SOLIDARITY and WORDS" are VERY HOLY. Most of the people I have been interacting with behind-the-scenes since April are ready to pump in their quality dollars all because of my name and noble background. There was even this wealthy Sarehulleh merchant woman in D.R. Congo who asked me to tell her the bill for the project and she will foot it all alone but I told her to wait until other parts of communities across the globe conclude their contributions and she can balance whatever is outstanding. I cannot bear the humiliation of rejecting the others who have already given me their words.

My name and credibility stands so the listless idlers will only be wasting their calories with their gossips. We are not applying for any tax-payer funding locally or internationally as we want to be financially independent.

I know with time people from other ethnic groups will come. The school is going to be OPEN to all. Just like the traditional KARANTAS that my grandfathers have been operating for generations and welcoming kids from all ETHNICITIES and Regions between the Adamawa and the Futa Djallon, our "Sarahulleh Institute of Technology" will not just accommodate the Badibunka Sanawolu but also any smart kid who wants to learn a useful trade and be awake (kuning), subject to the available of slots for the chosen academic year.

Accommodation will be free and all the students will be on scholarship. It is not part of our heritage to charge people who come to us to seek knowledge and I told the elders that I want this tradition to continue.

Another good thing is I have a Mandinka girl on my Quality Women List who is a trained architect. I might give her the contract for the campus master plan should she defeat the others. I hope I will not be accused of favourism/nepotism? She has curves bonus and did not study any "Allahko, Mansako" brainwash subject. Hahahaha!

As for the construction works, I believe if the my Fula, Mandinka, Bambara and others cousins from the Mandeng Family of Languages have no problems sweating on Yahya Jammeh's farms, they should have no problem lending hands to the construction workers of my princely institute of technology. This will be their own contributions.

My Brother Cherno Fankung Fankung, tell your Babili Mansa that if he wants me to invite him to the official opening, he must meet some conditions first. He can contact me for the details.

Enjoy your week. I got to run. Thanks for the kind words. SMILE!

*********************************
Pleasant Weekend to you all,

I would like to start by thanking Maafanta.com, Jollofnews.com, Senegambianews.com, Gainako.com, HelloGambia.com for carrying the maiden press release of Alikuning Society For The African Family (ASTAF). In this free world of media pluralism, it is encouraging to see alternative channels of dialogue and access.

It is my pleasure to inform you of the first concrete achievements of Alikuning.

Some key members of the Sarahuleh Communities in Angola, D.R. Congo and other countries I will NOT name here have agreed to raise funds for the construction of a technical school (Institute of Technology) in The Gambia by Alikuning.

A piece of land has already been secured in URR and once the funds reach the substantial amount for the construction of the buildings and procurement of educational materials, work will start in earnest.

I will use the time to get quotations from architects and construction firms to be on the stand-by modus.

You will all bear with me witness that Alikuning is open to all human beings who accept the articles of its constitution. I will personally castrate any hate-preacher who goes about gossiping that Alikuning is a Sarahulleh tribalist organization. If she is a woman, she can pick her own punishment. The choice of a Mandinka name (Alikuning) for our organization speaks for itself.

I invited people to join and did my best to explain my motives but no one should expect me to lick his/her boots and also beg people to join or support us. If my Sarahulleh people in and out of The Gambia decide to take the lead by opening their wallets and treasuries, this does not create room for pettiness and the typical hypocritical Gambian attitude. No one is stopping others from sharing our commitment to Enlightenment through Alikuning.

Thanks. I am looking forward to inviting you all to the official opening of our Institute of Technology (final official name will be confirmed later) within the next 24 to 36 months; all things remaining equal.

Once again thanks to all those who welcomed Alikuning.

XA NAWARI MAAREMU!
