Another installment in exquisite folklore Rene. I have long admired your
sense of life and circumstance. Much obliged.

I have shared some years ago when I was first introduced to your art, that
you ought to collaborate with coleagues to compile "A Collection of Poems". It
may have been premature then. Since then we have been introduced to similar
venture by our other coleagues here and at Posten. The year may be dawning on
us. Mbarangbiringbiring Galleh can lend a hand in patronnage and adopt this
purpose on all your behalf given his extraordinary wealth in this area. My
leather sandals are now showing the wear of years of torturous use. Is leather
elastic to any degree and do I need an accelerant?

Haroun Masoud. Galleh, I know you're working on Armitage, and you are
otherwise occupied. Is there an opportunity to tap the honourable Yorro Jallow to
assist you in completing such honour? A rare opportunity. MQDT. Darbo.

The journey is difficult
inspired by hope and
nurtured by perseverance
the thorny terrain is navigable.

The terrain
it encompasses
the gamut of human experience:
from the tremors of fear
to the citadel of hope
from the moans of failure
to the screams of success
from the trials of woe
to the tribulations of apathy
from the houses of joyful laughter
to the bottomless pit of a nagging sorrow.

What do we achieve
at the end of the journey?
Conversely, what inspires
our motivation
our sense of purpose
at the start of the journey?

As we navigate
the steep sloping terrain
the end is less justifiable
our purpose is cumbersome
our motivation appear questionable
but our rocky conviction
our pillar of sacrifice
keep the faith of the journey
where the journey's fate is more perilous.
