Musa Jeng, this is NOT a pre-emptive strike or anything of that nature. IF
you reread my piece you will realize that where I spoke about sycophancy, I
prefaced my comment with an ‘IF’. I am NOT ‘putting’ anyone anywhere. Only
Dr. Saine (in this case) can ‘put’ himself into a ‘category’.

On another note, though, I was hoping that my piece taught you that this is
NOT personal for me. Whether it is Musa Jeng or Dr. Abdoulaye Saine or what
have you, what matters to me is for people to tell the truth and put such
matters into perspective. This is the morale I was hoping you (personally)
would get from my piece. Let’s just focus on the issues and stop the
nonsense about tactics (‘pre-emptive strike’) and tone. I am sure Dr. Saine
can take very good care of himself. The man am sure will be prepared to back
up every statement he makes here. Otherwise, he should keep quiet if he does
not want to hear from people like me.

Thanks again.
