Hamjatta,
I see a debate verbertim with Halifa on this issue as very unnecessary. If
you cannot resolve this on the L you might not be able to resolve it with
Halifa in London face to face either. Keep your energy rolling on how to put
pressure on the clown's exit.It was indeed an interesting debate but i doubt
whether following it up in London would do us any good at this point in
time. Those who are willing to contribute to Halifa's ticket can send him the
money home to strengten his ground work for the upcomming elections. One
thing i will reckon with Halifa though, is that writing long letters to
jammeh on how democratic and undemocratic he runs the state would be futile
because the guy doesn't have an iota of mercy neither commonsense in him. I
believe the most powerful tactic the opposition can do at this moment is to
unite and get rid of Jammeh. If enlighttenment is what pdois favours for the
Gambian people, unity with other parties to free us from this clown should
not have been a difficult task for pdois to consider no matter how different
their idealogical differences from the other political parties.
God bless us all.
Fatou Jaw Manneh
