Please those living in The Gambia tell us if we can get the report
published, from the net, or better, those of you on the Gambia-L who sit in
the presidents PR-office, put the report on the net for all of us to read.
The ombudsman is for all of us, and he is certainly our "voice", when it
comes to look over the shoulders of the system. It should be very very
interesting to read the report. So please those of you who have access,
connections or what ever, bring the report to public. Please.

The Office of the Ombudsman today Wednesday, February 27, handed over its
first Report (since its inception in 1999) to the President of the Republic,
Dr. Alhaji Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh.

The Report covers all cases of mismanagement, abuse of office,
maladministration, discrimination and injustice from the year 1999-2000 that
were reported to the Ombudsman Office for investigation.
