Hello, all, I discovered The Gambia Journal via AllAfrica.com, as
well as through articles forwarded to the Gambia Post, as well as the
Gambia-l, I think also, but I'm
not sure, as sometimes I get the lists confused, especially when my
email filter puts something sent to both lists only in the Gambia-l
folder.

However, I just wanted to say that the more that I read from that
publication, the more I like it. I find the articles to be
well-written and balanced.
This is fast becoming one of my favorite news sources on The Gambia,
along with the Independent which is currently, sad to say, out of
action for the moment.

I'm hoping, though, that security precautions are taken, to avoid or
at least to lessen the chance that the sight gets hacked into, as with
what happened
to Pa Nderry Mbai's email and the Freedom Newspaper.

Take care all.

Ginny
